Norwich Tech for Good Meetup #4
Anyone interested in using tech and digital to create a positive impact on individuals and society is welcome. We're a diverse group of tech and non tech people and aim to keep the conversations accessible and inclusive as well as, hopefully, thought-provoking and practical.
At this month's event, the brilliant Rose Bonner, web developer at “tech for good” agency Reason Digital, will be leading the conversation on how to even define “good” vs “bad” tech, using the example of Toilet Map, which (spoiler alert) maps toilets in the UK.
What could possibly not be ‘good’ about a useful toilet map, right? RIGHT?
Rose will take us through the history of tech for good, where it is today, and see if we can agree on what makes good tech, for a good project.
Each session will aim to cover the basics of what designing and building ‘good’ tech and digital tools actually looks like.
