Financing the Transition to Regenerative Agriculture: Results Roundtable
Join the Simpson Centre for a dynamic roundtable discussion exploring the future of finance in regenerative agriculture.
Building on insights from recent focus groups with producers, finance professionals, and policymakers—as well as additional contextual research—this event will present key findings from the Simpson Centre’s latest study.
The research highlights a growing interest among investors and financial institutions in supporting regenerative practices. However, the rollout of tailored financial products and services remains in early stages. This roundtable will bring together stakeholders across the agri-finance ecosystem to reflect on these findings and explore practical pathways forward.
The event will feature a presentation of the study results by Dr. Tatenda Mambo, Postdoctoral Associate at the Simpson Centre, followed by breakout discussions addressing key themes such as:
Barriers to accessing finance for regenerative agriculture (RA)
Valorization of RA outcomes
The role of policy in enabling the transition
Opportunities for cross-sector collaboration
We invite producers, members of the finance sector, policymakers, and other stakeholders to contribute their perspectives in this collaborative forum.
