Celebrate National Book Lovers Day with us.
Calling all women to join! We're so excited to host our very first community walk in celebration of National Book Lovers Day.
We'll meet and grab a coffee or tea to go before heading into Central Park for a relaxed walk filled with meaningful conversation. Along the way, everyone will have the chance to share a book that has changed their life—or simply listen and discover new recommendations.
Whether you're looking to meet thoughtful, growth-minded women, or you're hoping to build a reading habit, we'd love to have you join us.

The Plan
1:30 PM — Meet at Sip & Co. and grab a coffee or tea
1:45 PM — Welcome & introductions
2:00 PM — Walk into Central Park and pair up with someone or a couple people to chat with
3:00 PM — Gather for a brief introduction to Books Light the Fire and our community
3:30 PM — Wrap up the walk, with time to continue chatting if you'd like
A Few Things to Know
☀️ Warm weather: Sunday will be partly cloudy with a high around 90°. We’ll have some shade along the route, but dress light and comfortably, and come prepared with water and sunglasses or a hat. Make sure to wear sunscreen, and feel free to bring a personal fan if you have one.
🚻 Bathrooms: Sip + Co. does not have a bathroom. There’s a Pret A Manger around the corner with one for customers, and there are bathrooms toward the end of the walk, including at Columbus Circle.
