Zine 101: Easiest Zine Layout

​We will create a speedy 8-page layout zine from a single sheet of 8.5" x 11" paper to bring your ideas into the hearts and palms of others. You’ll walk away with the skills to make, scan, and print your own zine.

​Skills we will learn:
🖤basic zine overview and layout
🖤folding techniques

​Come with a concept in mind for fast creation of a finished product—or—just play with the technique with no pressure and leave with skills and inspiration for future follow through.

​It's the Anarchist Book Fair the following day, so bring your creativity to the streets!

​About Your Instructor:
Jac Atkinson (she/they) is a multidisciplinary artist and event producer working across communication design, illustration, and printmaking. Atkinson’s freelance practice spans editorial illustration, children’s publishing, participatory installations, live performance, tattoos, and large-scale murals. They are particularly drawn to collaborative projects that blur the boundaries between art, design, and social experience and is the cofounder of Shadow Traffic (for which she makes zines just like this for nearly every event!).
