​Mind Made is a three-hour evening in Hong Kong where you get to build an app or a website — starting with the thinking, not the tool. Most events and hackathons skip that part. The AI runs off. It gets overwhelming. You're no longer building your idea — you're chasing the AI's version of it. This round, you take back control. We build the right thing, not just things right.

​This is for you if you:

• ​Have an idea stuck in your Notes app — and keep telling yourself "maybe someday"

• ​Want to finally build something you can show, not just describe

• ​Have tried an AI tool before and ended up more confused than when you started

• ​Are tired of the AI running off in directions you never asked for

• ​A working version of your idea — built by you, live, and ready to show your team, your users, or just future-you

• ​Your one-page strategy — the brief that kept your build on track, and your north star for whatever you make next

• ​A repeatable way of working with AI — so your thinking leads the tool, on this project and every one after

​How the evening works

• ​First, think ruthlessly — and find your north star. What are you building, for whom, and why? Shape it into a one-page strategy before you touch the tool.

• ​Then, build in control. Turn that strategy into your first prompt and go from blank screen to working version in Lovable — with me right there when it gets out of hand.

• ​Finally, share proudly. Demo what you made, then unlock the framework you'll carry into every build after this one.

​What to bring

• ​Your laptop — fully charged

• ​A rough idea of something you'd like to build — a productivity tool, a landing page, a personal dashboard. It doesn't need to be fully formed; we'll spend the first part sharpening it together. Just bring something you care about

​For our HK builders 🇭🇰: Lovable works entirely in English, so you'll want to be comfortable reading and typing in it. But I'll be facilitating in both Cantonese and English all evening— ask me anything in either.

​I'm Sharon. I help people who can't code build real things with AI — and more to the point, build the right things.

​Over the last year I've taught 100+ non-technical people to do exactly that across SheBuilds and Global Service Jam HK, built tools like Countable and Island Time, and I'm speaking on human-AI co-creation at IAF Asia 2026.
