About Event

Zero Proof. Max Profit.

Buyers are ranging harder. Tasting good is a given. But successful products now need to hit appearance, deliverability and margin metrics too.

Four working sessions for the people running No and Low brands, hosted near Spitalfields. No filler. No pitches. We've gathered a range of experts who have worked with some of the world's most interesting FMCG brands across the corporate, challenger and legacy categories to talk about how to win big in the modern world of CPG.

Our goal: to set your business up for success in the fastest-moving, most crowded category in drinks. You will not leave with a tote bag and a vague sense of optimism. You'll leave with your pack critiqued, your funding maths done, a working automation you built yourself, and a straight answer on whether retail is your next move.

We've intentionally scheduled the event to fall the day before the Club Soda No, Low & Mid-Strength Summit. If you're going, this is the sharpest possible way to arrive and prep for upcoming buyer meetings. If you're not, the day stands entirely on its own.

On the agenda

01

Selling Into Retail: The Candid Version

A fireside chat with an independent sales consultant who has spent a career on the other side of the table — including running sales at Rude Health and placing brands into Selfridges, Whole Foods and Harrods. Not a framework. A candid conversation about whether retail is the right move for you yet, what a listing genuinely costs to service, and how the buyer conversation actually goes. Come with the question you'd be embarrassed to ask in public. Speaker announced shortly.

02

What to Automate Yourself, and What to Leave Alone

Most drinks businesses are still guessing at what AI can actually do for them. We'll build a working agent live in the room — something small and real, like chasing a late PO or turning meeting notes into a buyer follow-up — so you can see how far a non-technical founder gets in an afternoon. Then the half nobody runs: where this goes wrong. Labelling, allergens, supplier data, anything where being 95% right is a recall. What you can safely run yourself, and what should never leave a professional's hands.

03

The 3-Second Shelf — panel

Three seconds is roughly what your pack gets before a shopper's eye moves on. We've invited our creative partner Starke Creative — former heavy hitters behind international branding campaigns, now running a boutique agency — on what actually happens inside those three seconds: which visual conventions of the no and low category are load-bearing, which ones brands copy out of fear, and what distinctiveness is worth now that AI-generated design has flooded every shelf.

They're joined by two guests we're not naming yet. Both have led marketing at nationally distributed brands you will recognise instantly. If you want to know who'll be in the room, register below! Guests will be revealed in the run up to the event.

Straight after the panel

The Pack Clinic

Starke Creative stay in the room for an open critique session. Bring your product and get an honest read on what's working and what's invisible from two metres away. Or bring the mockups you're stuck between — if you've got three routes back from a designer and no idea which to pick, this is a free steer from people who have been making that call on behalf of big brands for decades. They'll stay on through drinks, so everyone who wants a look gets one.

04

Is It the Right Time to Raise?

One founder told us: "if I'd known this six months ago, I'd never have taken investment." This session is the question behind that sentence. What a round actually costs, modelled forward through three raises on a real cap table. What a 2026 investor in this category genuinely underwrites — rate of sale, repeat, gross margin, not distribution vanity. And the growth you can fund without selling any equity at all.

What you'll leave with

From 01: A straight answer on whether retail is your next move, and what a listing will cost you to service before it pays.

From 02: A working automation you built yourself, plus a written line on what should never be automated in a food and drink business.

From 03 + clinic: Direct critique of your own pack from people who have built nationally distributed brands — or a decision on which mockup to back.

From 04: The numbers an investor will ask for, and a clear view of the growth you can fund without giving away equity.

This is a VIP event with limited access, open to only a handful of select businesses. As a result, we expect this event to be oversubscribed, so please don't hesitate to reserve your space.
