About Event

This workshop focuses on Solidity fundamentals and practical approaches to building and interacting with smart contracts within the Polkadot ecosystem.

🕗 20:00 – Daniel (OpenGuild DevRel)

Topic: Solidity Quick Start with Remix
Daniel will walk participants through getting started with Solidity using Remix — from writing your first smart contract to deploying and testing it live.

🕣 20:30 – Nicolás Hussein (PaperMoon Developer Relation Engineer)

Topic: Calling Solidity Contract Functions from Rust or Implementing a Solidity Interface
Nicolás will share how to call Solidity contract functions from Rust and how to implement Solidity interfaces in a multi-language development environment.

🕘 21:00 – Victor (Bifrost's DevRel)

Topic: A Developer Guide to Earning with Frontends
Victor will provide practical insights into how developers can create value and generate revenue through frontend development in the Web3 ecosystem.

About the Host

OpenGuild, a builder-first community growing the Polkadot ecosystem across APAC.

  • Web3 Foundation supports the development of a decentralized internet where users retain control over their data and digital identity. Primary projects include Polkadot and Kusama. W3F supports the hackathon by guiding technical direction, ecosystem alignment, and grant-based pathways for high-quality projects building on Polkadot Hub.

  • Polkadot is a next-generation blockchain protocol designed to support a multi-chain future by enabling secure communication and interoperability between different blockchains. Built as a Layer-0 protocol, Polkadot introduces innovations like application-specific Layer-1 chains (parachains), shared security through Nominated Proof of Stake (NPoS), and cross-chain interactions via its native Cross-Consensus Messaging Format (XCM).
