About Event

Taste in the AI era has been a common source of discourse across Silicon Valley. Many say it’s the forbidden fruit of the modern marketing garden of eden, but is taste the right concept we should be reaching for? And if so, who holds the knowledge of good content/branding/marketing vs evil AI slop?

Join us for a curious discussion on just that with deep domain experts:

Gareth Key (VP Brand, Coinbase): Leads Coinbase’s  marketing strategy, storytelling and behavior across brand, product, and policy. Coinbase’s 2026 video game-inspired campaign “Your Way Out” received an Emmy Nomination for Outstanding Commercial. Prior to Coinbase, he was a partner at The Intangibles, a collective famously dubbed “the Avengers of Marketing” by Fast Company.

Ethan Smith (CEO, Graphite): Leads Graphite.io, a research-driven growth agency that works with companies like Kalshi, Adobe, and n8n. He is an adjunct professor at IE Business School and teaches SEO and AEO at Reforge. His research has been published in The New York Times, Financial Times, and The Atlantic.

Anish Shah (CEO, Ruckus): Former growth operator and founder of executive recruiting firm, Ruckus. He is responsible for building world-class growth and marketing teams at notable orgs such as Sephora, Goop, TaskRabbit, ZocDoc, Rent the Runway, and more.

We will kick off with a fireside panel followed by a happy hour, accompanied with edible flower bites and libations. Limited capacity, RSVP only.
