Kappa Studios Tour

​Step inside a working post-production studio. Kappa Studios had been a fixture of the Burbank media district for more than thirty years, sitting a few blocks from Walt Disney, Warner Bros., and Universal, and doing finishing work on projects you've already seen. The Chosen, Reagan, and House of David were all cut, colored, and crafted under their roof.

​They handle it all in one building: editing, color grading, sound design and mixing, VFX, and animation. It's a rare case of a shop doing excellent, technically serious work on films made for the church and the wider culture at once, which makes it a good place to ask hard questions about what it looks like to build a career in entertainment without leaving your convictions at the door.

​We'll meet the team, walk the facility, hear how they built the studio and why, and get a hands-on look at current projects and how the work actually moves from raw footage to finished film.
