About Event

Hosted by Alma Atma Network, a non-profit
Venue Sponsor: Silicon Valley Bank (SVB)

🧧 Let us gather to welcome the Year of the Horse 🐎 in celebration of culture, connection, and cross-community collaboration. In many Asian cultures, Lunar New Year is a time for families and friends to reunite over meaningful conversations, cherished traditions, delicious food, and well-wishes for luck and prosperity.

Set against this spirit of reunion and renewal, the evening will take place at the SVB Experience Center — a striking circular pavilion with floor-to-ceiling glass walls set against the city skyline. Its light-filled design blurs the boundary between indoors and outdoors, creating a setting that feels both intimate and expansive. The venue also features digital screens showcasing festive visuals alongside meaningful content that reflects the purpose and spirit of the event.

An elegant and festive evening brought to life through the following elements:

🍷 Welcome & New Year Toast
Kick off the evening by raising a glass to the new year with red and white wine. Soda and water will also be available for guests who prefer non-alcoholic options.

🏮 Networking Dinner (throughout the evening)
Enjoy meaningful connections over a buffet-style dinner featuring Szechuan favorites, sushi, Paris Baguette cake, red envelopes with fortune cookies, and traditional lantern décor in celebration of the Lunar New Year.

🎶 Cultural Piano Performance (15 minutes)
A special cultural moment featuring a piano performance by composer Owens Huang(OHNomad) and pianist Chi Jo Lee, bringing the Lunar New Year spirit to life through music.
