About Event

Learn how to make grillz from scratch x

You'll be working on a piece for yourself that fits only you and get a feel for the whole process. This is the ideal workshop for anyone curious about how grillz are made and a great way to try out something creative, unique, and totally personal.

Your Instructor

Your instructor for this workshop is Raha Siahpoosh, the grillz artist leading Yaaqee Studio’s Toronto Grillz Lab.

Yaaqee Studio was founded by Ida Lajevardi in 2020 with a focus on body-based adornment and custom grillz. With a background in Industrial Design (BS), Ida built the studio around experimentation, precision, and pushing grillz beyond ornament into sculptural design.

Raha works closely with Ida and is leading the Toronto chapter of Grillz Lab, bringing the same attention to detail, care, and creative energy that defines Yaaqee Studio. She is passionate about helping participants explore self-expression through wearable design while making the process approachable and hands-on.

During the workshop, Raha will guide you step by step — from shaping and refining your piece to understanding fit and form — ensuring you feel supported, confident, and proud of what you create.

What you'll make

During the workshop, you’ll take impressions of your teeth and use them to create a custom wax design for your grillz, the essential first step in making a personalized set.

If you decided to continue the process, you can opt to have Ida cast and professionally finish your piece. Upgraded pricing and timeline will be provided after the workshop based on the design and the material you choose.
