Drawn from the Tropics
A still life drawing workshop featuring tropical fruit installations by FAWN WORLD.
To celebrate Singapore's National Day, join us for a slow morning of drawing inspired by the tropical fruits, flora, and forms that surround us.
Throughout the r y e New Bahru store, FAWN WORLD has created a series of still life installations inspired by the fruits and flora of the tropics, inviting a slower way of looking at the landscapes we call home.
Guided by a facilitator, the workshop is less about learning to draw "well" than learning to notice. The curve of a mangosteen, the weight of a pomelo, the texture of a leaf.
A small exercise in paying attention.
Guests can select a 30-minute sketching slot between 10AM and 12PM. Even if sessions are full, you're welcome to drop by and sketch at your own rhythm — space and materials will still be available.
