Trans-Bioregional Coordination Circle
As an experiment intended to facilitate learning, information flow, and coordination across our relational and professional web, the BioFi Project is hosting this first seasonal Trans-Bioregional Coordination Circle in service to bioregional organizing teams and a handful of organizations working across many bioregions who are dedicated to supporting such teams.
We believe that by simply gathering these types of organizations 4 times a year to share learnings, updates, and offerings — and to connect with bioregional organizers — that we can facilitate:
support organizations to learn together and sense opportunities for better coordination and collaboration
bioregional organizing teams to understand how, when, and where to connect with opportunities for support and what is emerging among and beyond this constellation of orgs
Each season, the hosting role will rotate so that the call is curated and hosted by a different org each time.
For our 90 minutes together we will:
Hear reflections on the past season of work from each invited org
Hear updates, plans, and offerings from each invited org
Facilitate open conversation between support orgs and bioregional organizers
For this kickoff call, The BioFi Project has invited the following support organizations to participate:
R3.0
Open Civics
Open Futures Coalition
The Design School for Regenerating Earth
ReFi DAO
MaEarth
Bioregional Weaving Labs
Regen Network / Regen Foundation
Not all invitees may be able to attend, and going forward, each host will be encouraged to make additions to this list for the circle they host.
Whether you're working in this broader field or focused in a specific bioregion, please bring your questions and requests for how we can all best serve this moment!
Note: This constellation of orgs is not intended to be a comprehensive representation of the many orgs working across the globe in this space, nor is it a formal coalition or working group of any kind.
This is meant as a simple gathering container to check-in and learn out loud to benefit to broader nested wholes of which we are a part. We welcome other/overlapping trans-bioregional coordination circles popping up, especially those that may be able to better serve other geographic regions and languages.
