Beers & Barter Hour

​Come hang with us at Dual Citizen Brewing for a beer (NA options available) and some good old-fashioned bartering!

​Barter Hour is a unique, Minneapolis-based event series where guests arrive with goods and services to trade with one another.

​Just bring your stuff, your skills, your creative ideas, and trade with your neighbors. We'll help facilitate the connections and exchanges.

​Here are some things you could bring:

​GOODS
Things you’ve made or already own. For example: A painting, a potted plant, a cozy bundle of books and tea, an ice cream maker that deserves more love.

​SERVICES
Things you can offer others. Think skills, knowledge, or creative gifts. For example: Bake and deliver a custom sourdough loaf, fix up a bike, help plan a backpacking trip, talk someone through a big decision, style or curate a space, offer a photoshoot, make a custom crocheted hat. Get creative with it.

​Bring what you’ve got. Trade for something you don’t. Meet some good humans along the way.

​This event is supported by Gifting Grove, a nonprofit dedicated to creating tangible opportunities to participate in a gift economy where living becomes inherently sustainable, joyful, and rooted in connection. Through events like this, we invite people to explore a culture where value is measured not by what you consume, but by what you give and share.
