Join BlackStar Projects for a special gathering celebrating the 15th anniversary of BlackStar Film Festival and offering an early look at this year’s upcoming edition!
Scholar and writer Sarah J. Jackson will read from her forthcoming book A Second Sight, which includes a section on BlackStar, while participating filmmakers Donn T. and Rodney Evans will share excerpts from works screening at this year’s festival.
Guests will also enjoy drinks and light bites from Honeysuckle throughout the evening - the fabulous and much celebrated Afrocentric restaurant and community space graciously hosting us for the occasion.
