The Free Software Foundation: What Freedom in Software Means to You
On Saturday, August 15, the Free Software Foundation (FSF) team is hosting an informal meetup co-organized with Freedom Lab NYC.
FSF have been historic leaders in free software (free as in freedom), and their team will share a little bit about their current work:
- Deputy director Sean O'Brien,
- Campaigns manager Greg Farough,
- GNU/Linux systems administrator Michael McMahon
- Copyright and licensing associate Craig Topham
- Program manager Heshan de Silva-Weeramuni
Throughout the night there will be some bites and drinks, mingling, and the opportunity to meet FSF associate members and free software supporters.
Come with any thoughts or questions you have!
Big thank you to Cake Wallet for generously supporting this event!
If you're an FSF member, you should have received an invite. You are not required to fill out this form. Please contact FSF at campaigns@fsf.org so FSF can estimate member attendance.
