About Event

โ€‹This one is for the people who never make time for this.

โ€‹AI comes up in every board meeting, every conference, nearly every conversation. You nod along. You know you should have your hands on it properly by now. The day job always wins.

โ€‹This is a half day to fix that, in a room of people in exactly the same boat.

โ€‹Who's in the room

โ€‹C-suite, MDs, directors, founders and owners from across hospitality. Small room, deliberately senior. Everyone has a real business and real data behind them. Chatham House rules.

โ€‹What this isn't

โ€‹It's not a pitch. Nobody's selling you a tech stack, showing a product, auditing your systems or booking a follow-up call.

โ€‹The shape of the afternoon

โ€‹13:00 - Lunch and networking

โ€‹13:35 - Welcome, then Matt Grimshaw (Youda) sets the scene. What's changed since March, why most of us are still using AI as a fancy spellcheck, and where the real shift is.

โ€‹14:05 - Three sessions, in rotation. You'll be in a group of around ten and see all three. Every session is hands-on - you'll be in demo accounts, not watching slides:

โ€‹Workflows and automations - Matt Grimshaw, Youda. What happens when two or three of your systems talk to each other and an agent does the tedious bit. Live.

โ€‹Data and dashboards - Gregers Sander, Monotree. From scattered data to one source of truth, and a live dashboard built on POS, scheduling and Monotree data in front of you.

โ€‹Build it yourself - Steve Cownie, Ops Director at Chance & Counters. Steve has built his own tools for his business. He'll show you what and how, then you'll build something together as a group, on your own laptops. You'll leave knowing how to get set up and where to start.

โ€‹15:30 - Coffee and something sweet

โ€‹16:25 - Show and tell. Each group shares what they built and what they're taking back to the business.

โ€‹16:45 - Matt closes: the skills senior leaders will need. Not just for the next two years, but to secure your next role and the one after that.

โ€‹17:10 - Drinks and networking

โ€‹What you'll leave with

โ€‹A first-hand look at what's actually possible now. The real thing on a screen, not slides about it.

โ€‹A clear view of where the bottleneck really is (usually your data, not the AI).

โ€‹A room of senior peers who've just seen the same things.

โ€‹Better questions for everyone who is trying to sell you something.

โ€‹The details

โ€‹ยฃ75 - includes lunch, a sweet treat, tea and coffee all afternoon and a drink at the end.

โ€‹Bring a laptop if you can - you'll want it for the Build it yourself session.

โ€‹One honest note: the room is curated, so registrations are approved to keep the mix right. If this one's not the right fit, we'll say so nicely and keep you in mind for the next.

โ€‹You don't need to know how to code. Just a bit of curiosity.
