Join us during 404 Day! Weekend at a community gathering celebrating the release of (404) Job Not Found: What Workforce Training Can't Fix for Black Atlantans in the Age of AI, a new report by Anuli Akanegbu, PhD, published by Data & Society Research Institute with support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
This in-person event is designed for Atlantans who want both practical resources for career advancement and thoughtful conversation about how AI is reshaping work, education, and opportunity in the city.
Organized and hosted by the The BLK IRL Network, with support from Atlanta Interdisciplinary AI Network (AIAI) and media partnership from Capital B Atlanta.
The evening includes:
Community Resource Fair (Starting at 6:00 PM)
Connect with Atlanta-based organizations offering a variety of job training, educational programs, and economic mobility opportunities for youth and adults.
Panel Conversation (7:00-7:45 PM)
AI and the Future of Work for College Graduates and Black Women
Two groups are facing some of the most profound changes in today’s workplace: new graduates entering a changing entry-level landscape and Black women confronting persistent barriers to career advancement. Don’t miss this lively discussion on how AI-driven shifts are reshaping career pathways, education-to-work transitions, and what it takes to achieve equitable economic mobility in Georgia today.
