AI Agents 101: Build, Test & Use AI Agents
Build and test an AI agent with us.
Choose your learning track, leave with a working project, and gain the skills to build your next one.
Back by popular demand! AI agents are everywhere. But hearing about them and knowing how to build one are two very different things.
On December 9, WOMEN x AI will take you step by step from understanding agentic AI to building and testing an agent yourself.
You'll learn:
🤖 What makes an AI agent different from a prompt or chatbot
🧭 How to recognize when a task would benefit from an agent
🎯 How to give an agent a clear goal, context, and the right tools🛠️ How to build, test, troubleshoot, and improve an agent
🧠 Where human judgment still matters
We'll move between practical instruction, live building, and small-group support so you can ask questions and work through challenges as you build.
Choose Your Build Track
Everyone starts by building a Meeting Prep Gem together. Then you'll choose one of three hands-on breakout tracks, each guided by dedicated facilitators.
🌱 Track 1: Refine | Beginner
Build a more useful and reliable Meeting Prep Gem. Customize your agent, test it against realistic scenarios, and improve its instructions and guardrails.
You'll leave with: A tested, reusable AI assistant for preparing meeting briefs.
🔗 Track 2: Connect | Intermediate
Connect your meeting-prep workflow to Google Calendar, Gmail, and Drive. Learn how to retrieve relevant information, verify sources, and keep human judgment in the loop.
You'll leave with: A tool-connected meeting-prep workflow and reusable retrieval prompt.
⚡ Track 3: Automate | Advanced
Take your workflow further by adding triggers and automation. Use Google tools and AI Studio to build an agent that prepares and delivers meeting briefings on a schedule.
You'll leave with: A scheduled meeting-prep automation designed to work without a new prompt each time.
Track 3 requires a Google account, access to Google AI Studio, and a Gemini API key. You'll need to be comfortable following technical setup instructions. No previous programming experience is required, but some troubleshooting may be necessary.
Who Should Join?
New to AI agents? No coding, technical background, or perfect project idea required for the beginner track.
Already experimenting with agents? Choose a more challenging track to expand what you can build.
Attended AI Agents 101 before? Welcome back! Choose a different breakout track, learn alongside its facilitators, and leave with something new you've built. The hands-on breakout sessions aren't included in the original recording, so there's more to experience live.
You'll Leave With
