Teaching With AI, Building With AI
Teaching With AI, Building With AI: An Experiential Session for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Educators
How should AI show up in entrepreneurship education? As a teaching aid for assessing outputs? As a curriculum on the accelerated potential of AI-driven enterprises? As pedagogy that pushes students to more rapidly launch ventures?
As an entrepreneur turned educator and researcher, Luke DeCoste has been pursuing these questions by completing literature reviews of more than a thousand academic studies, running randomized field experiments, and iteratively designing sessions on AI in entrepreneurship for hundreds of entrepreneurs and students across Canada and the US, including at Dalhousie's Faculty of Management and helping launch ai2market.ca.
Join to learn and explore together. In Part 1, we work through practical approaches to AI in course design, including designing curriculum at scale and leveraging GenAI for learning. In Part 2, you experience AI as a curriculum: context engineering, critical prompting, crafting value propositions, testing hypotheses, and building a venture live.
This will be an experiential session. Please bring your laptop, your best tips for the audience, and that start-up idea you’ve been hoping to launch.
