​The session will focus on India’s rapidly evolving space ecosystem -  the role of IN-SPACe in enabling private participation, policy and regulatory shifts, commercialization pathways, and high-potential startup opportunities across launch systems, satellite applications, geospatial intelligence, dual-use technologies, advanced manufacturing, AI-driven space solutions, and more. Founders will gain clarity on where innovation gaps exist and how to strategically position themselves in India’s expanding space economy.

​About the Speaker
Air Vice Marshal Dhananjay Vasant Khot, AVSM, VM (Retd.) serves as Director – Strategy & Planning at IN-SPACe, Department of Space, Government of India . With a distinguished 35-year career in the Indian Air Force as a fighter pilot, commander, and strategic leader , he has logged over 3100 flying hours across frontline fighter and jet trainer aircraft .

​He has led key command assignments, served as Director General of the Defence Space Agency prior to joining IN-SPACe , and now heads the Decadal Vision Implementation program aimed at achieving India’s ambitious space economy goals . A recipient of the Vayu Sena Medal and Ati Vishisht Seva Medal for distinguished service , AVM Khot brings deep expertise across aerospace strategy, operational leadership, and national space capability building.
