DeepTech Breakfast with Andrew Zbytek
Deep Tech Breakfast: Ondřej (Andrew) Zbytek — First Czech at South Park Commons
The Deep Tech Breakfast returns to Machine House with a guest flying in from San Francisco. This one is different.
Ondřej "Andrew" Zbytek is a Czech serial founder (ex-Nuledo, ex-Plantee), now living in San Francisco. He is the first Czech to be accepted into South Park Commons, an elite anti-accelerator that's harder to get into than Harvard (<1% acceptance rate vs. Harvard's 3.5%). Andrew is now backed by Ali Partovi’s Neo - the first investor into Kalshi and Cursor. A power engineer by training, Andrew is building TIROS, an AI-native startup for industrial engineering on a mission to radically speed up power-generation and energy projects worldwide.
What we'll discuss:
- Fundraising in the US: what actually works, what European founders get wrong
- Inside SPC and Neo: what the world's most selective founder communities actually look for and the mentality shift between European and Silicon Valley ambition
- The journey: from Czech founder to earning seats at the most exclusive tables in startup land
Bring questions. Breakfast is on us.
To make it even more special we are partnering with Agent-first specialty coffee roastery.
