We Belong to the Earth: How Natural Burial Addresses Climate Change
Who: The environmentally conscious, those who love the earth, anyone curious about natural burial, and all who insist that after-death care protects and renews the earth.
What: a conversation in-person or by ZOOM titled: “We Belong to the Earth: How Natural Burial Addresses Climate Change ”
Why: Land Conservation Natural Burial (LCNB) is Minnesota’s forerunner when it comes to addressing climate change and caring for the earth through the inevitability of death. We all will perish one day, and with growing concerns about climate change and loss of habitat, LCNB offers a powerful and deeply meaningful solution – conservation burial.
LCNB’s goals deeply align with Minnesota’s Climate Action Framework through restoring and protecting native grassland habitat, sequestering carbon, and creating space for individuals and communities to meet their spiritual and cultural needs.
