San Diego AI Studio Sharathon #3
βποΈ San Diego AI Studio Sharathon #3
βπ
Sunday, November 15 Β· 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM
π Brew Coffee Spot, 6101 Lake Murray Blvd, La Mesa
βπ Free parking
π Free entry, free pizza & salad
β
βCome see how people build with AI. We fill a coffee shop with nerds & laptops and show each other what we made.
β
βπ Where we've been
βThe first Sharathon was in Ocean Beach in May. The second event brought us to Brew in August, with 22 participants and 13 live demos. You can watch those demos at sandiegoaistudio.com/sharathon/2. The best part was watching people share their setups and help each other take the next step.
β
βπ§ For our third event, we're opening up the systems.
βWe want to see the agents, notes, and automations running your business. You might call your setup an AI operating system, a second brain, a harness, a software factory. Show your long-running agents, the memory they draw on, and the automations gluing it all together.
βEight builders get nine minutes each on stage: seven minutes to show what they cooked, how it works, and what they've learned along the way, then two minutes for questions.
βThen we hang out, ask questions, turn laptops around, and see what everyone else is working on.
β
βWho's this for?
βπ People building with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, agents, or other AI tools
βπ§ Anyone with a second brain, knowledge system/RAG, or automations they want to show
βπ¬ ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, or Gemini users who want to go deeper
βπ Developers, founders, and creatives working AI into their flow
βπ£ People brand-new to AI and curious what's possible
βπ€ Hardware and robotics folks
βπ Nerds looking to hang out, find collaborators, or meet people
β
βπ€ Four ways to take part
βApply for a demo slot. We'll host eight demos on stage, nine minutes each: seven to present, two for questions. Stage slots go to setups that fit the theme: long-running agents, software factories, AI operating systems, second brains, and harnesses/interfaces. When you RSVP, tell us in a sentence or two what you want to show. Apply by Wednesday, November 11, and we'll let everyone who applied know by Friday, November 13. We'll also line up a couple of standbys in case a slot opens.
βShow your table. Turn your laptop around for the people sitting near you. No stage needed, and anything goes: on theme or not, finished or half-baked.
βBring a schematic. A diagram, a workflow, or an idea you're trying to work out. Nothing has to be production level.
βJust watch. Being a fly on the wall is a totally legit option. Laptops are optional, and you never have to explain anything you'd rather keep private.
βBring a laptop if you want to show something, bring one question about how a system works, and feel free to bring friends.
β
ββ The spot
βBrew Coffee Spot is a super rad coffee shop in La Mesa, near Lake Murray. They close early, so we get the whole place to ourselves.
β
βPizza and salad are on us. There's a free parking lot out front, and Brew's coffee and drinks are available to buy.
βWe (Lucas and Bree) will try to greet everyone, but if we miss you, come say hi. Look for Lucas: big friendly dude, dark beard, short curly hair.
β
βπ The flow
β4:30 PM: Doors open. Come in, chill, and meet people. Tables are open for show and tell from the start.
β5:30 PM: Quick welcome, then stage show-and-tell, round one. Four demos, seven minutes each plus two for questions.
βAround 6:15 PM: Break. Mingle and hit up the presenters with any questions.
βAround 6:35 PM: Round two. Four more demos on stage.
βAround 7:15 PM: Quick-fire. Anyone can take the mic for 15 seconds: an intro, an ask, or an announcement. Sign up at the door.
βAround 7:25 PM: Open floor. Show your table, pair up, wander, or look over shoulders.
β8:30 PM: Wrap.
β
βπ Demo Spots
βSpots are limited. If it's full, join the waitlist, and we'll let people in if any open.
β
βπ Photos
βNothing is live-streamed. If someone is shooting photos or short clips, you can opt out at the door. We'll post a full demo only with that presenter's permission.
β
βπ§° Explore before you come
βBrowse the Studio's Harness Ledger to see how people document their AI systems and try the optional self-audit. No score or completed audit is required to attend or apply for a demo.
βThe Sharathon recap and resource collection has material from the earlier events.
