Earth Day Check in at City Hall

​Lobby for Earth Day at the City Hall Council Chambers!

​Learn how to communicate with, and submit testimony to, our local municipal government and its boards and commissions. The Joint Sustainability Committee, representing several city commissions and advising City Council, will be meeting at 6PM on Earth Day to address sustainability and conservation concerns. Ten three-minute citizen communications can be submitted to the board prior to the meeting. Come early to sign up and be prepared to go through a security scan. Small signs and posters permitted. Sit in on the whole meeting or step outside for a brief advocacy workshop led by Austin Sierra Club.
