Want to earn a micro-credential for creating a your own business idea? Forward Vision (FV) is an award-winning startup accelerator that brings together 5 student faculties (Engineering, Business Administration, Sustainable Energy, Interactive Arts & Tech, and Science) for the biggest interdepartmental collab on campus.

It starts with The Impact Lab on October 14, where you're placed on a team and given a research-backed needs assessment on a real local issue. Then come three 30-minute online modules with the Charles Chang Institute, leading up to a final pitch at the competition on October 25 at SFU Harbour Centre.
What you get:
A micro-credential (LinkedIn-ready digital badge) for participating
$250 for the winning team
A shot at being adopted as an official Enactus SFU project, with further funding and support to build your idea
Mentorship from BC startup founders, BC30U30 alumni, and pros from firms like EY
Why do we need to go to The Impact Lab?
Forward Vision kicks into gear at the Impact Lab on October 14, where we'll officially release this year's case issues. Award-winning researchers and lab founders will walk you through research-backed needs assessments of real problems facing Metro Vancouver. You'll leave knowing exactly what you're solving, why it matters, and where the gaps are.
Normally case competitions make you do hundreds of hours of research - we give it right to you - making FV innovation focused.

By registering for the Impact Lab, you register for the Forward Vision program. Note: Your ticket to The Impact Lab covers 2 in-person events as well as food and drink catering to both the workshop and the pitch competition.

Can I register individually? Yes, we will put individual registrants in teams.
If I'm registering in a team, do I need to wait until everyone in it registers? No, you can register and then the other people who want to join you can just indicate who they want to partner up with in the form!
