Black Girl Enviromentalist x Black and Green Career Pathways

​Join Black Girl Environmentalist and other Black led-organizations in a conversation about how we are cultivating Black environmental pathways and leaders within the green economy at our panel conversation during LACW.

​You'll hear directly from our participating organizations as they share their unique theories of change and visions for reshaping the green workforce. Each organization will illustrate its specific programmatic focus and the impact of its initiatives on ensuring that Black youth and professionals are represented in the future green job market.

​This live discussion will offer valuable insights into how Black climate solutions, organizations, and job seekers can not only be present but thrive within the expanding green economy. Panelists will delve into critical questions such as: How can we ensure that Black youth and professionals are not left behind amidst this wave of innovation? What does it take to bridge generational divides and work effectively across various industries? How can the environmental sector build a workforce that is more inclusive and reflective of the communities it serves, while adapting to a rapidly evolving technological and cultural landscape?
