TiE Silicon Valley Angels Office Hours offers founders the opportunity to meet 1:1 with experienced investors, operators, and ecosystem leaders for direct feedback on their startup journey.
The March edition features Anand Akela, a seasoned marketing leader, past board member of TiE Silicon Valley, and active member of the TiE Angels screening committee.
During this session, selected founders will participate in focused one-on-one meetings, gaining actionable insights on go-to-market strategy, product positioning, fundraising readiness, and how to effectively communicate their startup story.

Why Meet Anand Akela?
Anand Akela is the Chief Marketing Officer at Acalvio Technologies, where he leads global marketing strategy including go-to-market execution, product messaging, launches, sales enablement, and marketing campaigns.
Prior to Acalvio, he served as VP of Marketing at Nutanix, leading go-to-market strategy, product marketing, and global marketing campaigns. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles across companies including Tricentis, CA Technologies, AppDynamics, Oracle, and HP.
Anand is a past board member of TiE Silicon Valley and serves on the TiE Angels screening committee, where he actively mentors and evaluates early-stage startups. He was recognized as a Top 100 Global Marketer in 2021.
He holds an MBA from Duke University Fuqua School of Business and a B.S. in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
