Vibe Coding 101 Workshop: For Beginners
“I have an idea… but I can’t code.”
If this sounds like you, let’s do something about that. 👀
Join NextStep Tokyo for Vibe Coding 101, a beginner-friendly workshop where you’ll explore how to build with AI and try turning a simple idea into something that actually works.
This event is mainly catered towards university students.
What will we be doing?
We’ll introduce the tools and walk through a live build, showing how an idea becomes a basic working prototype. Then it’s your turn: tart building with help available along the way.
Expect questions, trial and error, and a chance to see what everyone else is making!
Agenda
Doors open at 6.30. Workshop starts at 6.45!
👋 Welcome and an introduction to vibe coding
💻 AI tools, prompting basics, and a live building demo
🛠️ Hands-on time to try building your own mini project
💬 Q&A, optional project shareouts, and next steps
🤝 Meet fellow students and connect with other aspiring builders
Who should join?
University students from any discipline. You don’t need coding experience or a startup idea, just an interest in trying something new.
If you’ve been using AI and wondering what else you could do with it, come find out.
What to bring
A laptop,
your charger,
and a willingness to experiment.
Bring an idea if you have one, but don’t worry if you don’t!
