KiCad Workshop

​Design your own Christmas PCB, and actually get it made. 🎄

​For the first time ever, UCD students can design a printed circuit board from scratch and have it manufactured by the UCD School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering.

​In this hands-on, student-run workshop you'll:

• ​Design: learn KiCad from the ground up and lay out your own Christmas board

• ​Fabricate: the School manufactures your design

• ​Solder: assemble and light up your board yourself

​No experience needed. Just bring a laptop with KiCad installed.

​Your mentors: Jan, Elizabeta, Albin, Anesa and Nick, students from across UCD's engineering teams who design real boards.
