​Veteran entrepreneur Mae Chan was told by mortgage brokers it would be nearly impossible as a self-employed, single-income household to qualify for a loan. Then she met Helena Jones-Kim, who encouraged Mae to just begin where she was and take it one step at a time. With Helena's tireless encouragement, Mae bought her first property in 2024 that she's now developed to generate multiple sources of business revenue.
