​This is the official Shipaton IRL meetup in Chiang Mai, hosted by DekPort.

​TWO ROUNDS (🚨)

​ROUND 1 · ONLINE

​Submit your idea and a pitch video up to 2 minutes before 20 September 2026.

​Pitch videos must be publicly posted on YouTube or Facebook with

​Results will be announced on 22 September.

​Around 10–20 teams will be selected for the pitching/finalist track, depending on the number and quality of submissions.

​ROUND 2 · CHIANG MAI

​Everyone is welcome to attend the IRL event — you do not need to pass Round 1 just to come.

​Come build, meet other developers, get feedback, learn RevenueCat, find teammates and prepare your project before the global Shipaton deadline.

​Teams selected from Round 1 receive the finalist/workshop track and are eligible to pitch in front of the judges.

​Final Pitch

• ​2–3 minute elevator pitch per team

• ​2 minute Q&A with judges

• ​Only selected Round 1 teams are judged

• ​Trophy + Finalist Certificate for winning/finalist teams

​Round 1 only determines who joins the judged pitching track in Chiang Mai.

​DekPort's judging does not affect your eligibility for the global Shipaton.

​BUILT FOR STUDENTS

​Shipaton has a Next Gen Award specifically for students — high school, university, college, bootcamp or other academic programmes.

​Students can submit a demo video + source code instead of publishing to an app store, so you do not necessarily need to purchase an Apple or Google developer account.

​Important: use your school/university email on Devpost for Next Gen eligibility.

​ROUND 2 · CHIANG MAI

​ทุกคนสามารถมาร่วมงานได้ ไม่จำเป็นต้องผ่าน Round 1

​มาสร้างโปรเจกต์ หาเพื่อนร่วมทีม รับ Feedback เรียนรู้ RevenueCat และเตรียมผลงานก่อนส่ง Shipaton รอบ Global

​แต่สิทธิ์ในการ Pitch ต่อหน้ากรรมการและเข้าร่วมการตัดสินภายในงาน จะเป็นของทีมที่ผ่าน Round 1 เท่านั้น

​Final Pitch

• ​Elevator Pitch ทีมละ 2–3 นาที

• ​Q&A กับกรรมการอีก 2 นาที

• ​เฉพาะทีมที่ผ่าน Round 1 เท่านั้นที่จะได้รับการตัดสิน

• ​มีโล่รางวัลและ Finalist Certificate

​ไม่ผ่าน Round 1 ก็ยังมาได้
