​About the Event

​📗 We’ll start with a quick intro to the book and why I made it, and ultimately how I hope it helps you re-discover your sense of purpose in a daily drawing habit.

​✏️ Then we’ll get into the drawing. I’ll share the technique that originally made me fall in love with daily drawing and sharing, which involves the simplest of tools: pencils to draw with and something to add in some colour — coloured pencils, felts, paint pens or whatever else you have on hand.

​🎨 Along the way, we’ll learn about: choosing an interesting subject, knowing where to start, some basic drawing and shading techniques, and adding pops of colour.

​🙏 All are welcome to this event, whether you're a patron or not! Everyone who signs up on Luma will get a chance to win a signed copy of Drawing Is Important.
