Fransgiving is back! What started as a gathering of friends has grown into a celebration of art, culture, chosen family, and collective gratitude.
For many Indigenous communities, Thanksgiving is a Day of Mourning, a reminder of colonization, displacement, and generations of injustice. Fransgiving is our way of reclaiming the holiday through community, chosen family, cultural celebration, and collective care, centering the voices and experiences of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) while creating new traditions rooted in gratitude, solidarity, and belonging. ❤️
Our mission is to uplift BIPOC artists and creatives while welcoming EVERYONE, regardless of background, identity, or experience.
Whether you celebrate Thanksgiving traditionally, spend it with chosen family, or don’t celebrate at all, we’d love to share this space with you.

🍲 Plant-Based Potluck: I’ll be making homemade Filipino vegan adobo, alongside plant-based Thanksgiving favorites! Please bring only plant-based dishes to honor our shared values. Bringing food is optional! 🌱
🎶 Live Music: Soulful performances by @themrfyslaw
🎧 DJ: Music and good vibes throughout the evening by @tyrone.maximum
🥋 Eskrima: Live Filipino Martial Arts demonstrations celebrating culture and tradition
🎨 Artist Market: Shop handmade creations and original artwork from local vendors
