powerpoint night (v1) π»π
βthe why
βwith "personal curriculums" trending on fyp's, it got me thinking about the best part of being in school & learning - like most things, best shared with others.
βthe vibe
βpick a topic you'd like to present on for ~10-15 minutes (it's a part of the ticket application process.)
βspend time intentionally curating a story; not only do you get to explore an interest, but you also get to teach it to others!
βwe all leave learning about 10-15 new topics π
ββββββthe cost covers
βlight snacks & non-alcoholic bevvies
ββββββa space curated to optimize for serendipitous connections (because let's be real, the best things in life come to us in an unexpected ways.)
ββββββa welcoming and safe space for all
ββββββa place we hope you'll want to keep coming back to π©·
ββββ*please note that my cat, Miso, is around. she's super friendly but something to be mindful of incase of allergies π

βcan i come late/leave early?
βit's recommended to arrive within 15 minutes of the start time to make the most of your experience
βββββwhat is the general vibe of see u irl?
βββββit's definitely a place for yappers! we spend majority of the time chatting and getting to know each-other. the conversations aren't facilitated but generally flow in a β¨ serendipitous β¨ way
βββββi can't make it anymore! can i get a refund?
βββββunfortunately we don't offer refunds as the event sells out and there's typically a waitlist given the smaller capacity limit.
ββother questions we often get are covered here
