Startup Leadership Program - NYC is a unique accelerator focused on the individual instead of the company, and helps develop first-time founders through education, mentorship, and community.

During our program, fellows meet on Tuesday evening to hear from some of the most prominent NYC startup people, such as Jerry Colonna (Flatiron Partners), Charlie O'Donnell (Brooklyn Bridge Ventures), and Nihal Mehta (Eniac Ventures), and learn about the key fundamentals of starting and growing a company, negotiating a term sheet, developing a marketing strategy, and many other technical and non-technical aspects of leadership.

Startup Leadership Program has chapters in 18 cities worldwide and an alumni base of over 3,000 fellows. Our New York City chapter alone counts over 280 alumni whose startups have collectively raised $300 million in funding.

Join us for an Info Session on the Startup Leadership Program (SLP) - NYC 2027!

We’re bringing together founders and members of the NYC startup ecosystem for an evening of learning, connection, and community. At this info session, you’ll meet our program team, hear from alumni, and connect with other founders who are shaping the next wave of startups.

About SLP:

The Startup Leadership Program (SLP) is a six-month no-equity fellowship designed for first-time founders who want to learn how to build lasting companies. Since its founding, SLP has supported thousands of founders worldwide. In NYC alone, our 400+ alumni have raised over $1B in capital.

The program blends:

Community: A lifelong network of founders and operators
Curriculum: Practical workshops and founder-led sessions
Mentorship: Direct access to experts, investors, and leaders who’ve built and scaled companies

Program Details:

Dates: January – June 2027
Format: Weekly Tuesday evening (5:30-8pm) sessions, fully remote for accessibility, with several in-person classes
Experience: Hands-on workshops, breakout groups, and fireside chats with top NYC founders, investors, and operators. Past speakers include Jenny Fielding (The Fund), Paul English (Boston Venture Studio), and Nihal Mehta (Eniac Ventures).

You’ll gain the skills and insights to navigate fundraising, go-to-market strategy, hiring, leadership, and all the critical (and messy) realities of building a company.
