βπ New York City | December 4β5, 2026
β1.5 days. 100 incredible builders. AI Γ Health Γ Bio.
βWe're bringing together some of NYC's best engineers, founders, researchers, and builders for a hands-on hackathon exploring what's possible at the intersection of AI, healthcare, personal health, and biology.
βWhether you're already working in healthcare or coming from AI, consumer tech, or another industry, this is a chance to explore one of the most exciting areas for AI, meet talented people, and build something real.
βYou'll have access to leading AI tools, APIs, infrastructure, datasets, and experienced mentors, alongside a carefully curated group of other builders.
βCome with an idea or find one when you arrive. Spend the weekend experimenting, collaborating, and shipping something you're excited about.
βπ Apply by November 24. Space is limited, and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
βWhat to Expect
βHealth Frontier NYC is a 1.5-day build sprint, running Friday afternoon through Saturday evening.
βWe're curating a group of approximately 100 talented, motivated participants from across AI, engineering, healthcare, biology, and startups.
βThroughout the weekend, expect:
βAI tools & infrastructure: Access to APIs, developer tools, compute, and credits from technology partners.
βDatasets & resources: Healthcare, personal health, and biological datasets to help you experiment with real-world applications.
βExpert mentors: Guidance from experienced founders, engineers, researchers, and healthcare operators.
βTalks & technical demos: Hear from people building at the frontier of AI, healthcare, and biology.
βDedicated building time: Plenty of space to experiment, collaborate, and turn ideas into working prototypes.
βDemos & prizes: Present your work, get feedback from judges, and compete for prizes.
βGood people & good food: Meet potential cofounders, collaborators, and fellow builders in a fun, high-energy environment.
βThe focus is on building, learning, and connecting with exceptional people.
βTeams & Participation
βYou can apply individually or with an existing team.
βWe'll help match individual applicants into teams of approximately four based on skills and interests ahead of the event. Accepted participants will be invited to a shared community channel to connect, exchange ideas, and coordinate before the weekend.
βPlease indicate in your application if you're applying with teammates.
βWho Should Apply?
βWe're looking for curious, technically strong people who love building and want to explore what's next in AI and health.
βAI/ML & software engineers: Full-stack, applied AI, infrastructure, and forward-deployed engineers.
βFounders & startup teams: From early-stage ideas to established AI, healthtech, and biotech companies.
βResearchers & scientists: People working across AI, medicine, biology, and the life sciences.
βProduct builders & designers: PMs and designers who enjoy turning ambitious ideas into real products.
βClinicians & healthcare operators: People with firsthand experience of problems worth solving.
βBuilders from other industries: Anyone interested in personal health, wellness, longevity, biology, or applying AI to new domains.
βNo healthcare experience required. We're especially excited to bring together people already working in healthcare with talented builders from outside the industry.
βWe're keeping the event intentionally small and selective, prioritizing technical ability, creativity, and a genuine interest in building.
βProject Inspiration
βWe're keeping the scope broad. Projects can span clinical AI, consumer health, wellness, biology, research, and healthcare infrastructure.
βA few ideas to get you thinking:
βClinical AI & Healthcare Delivery
βAI agents for patient intake, scheduling, documentation, and care coordination.
βTools that help patients understand and follow through on medical advice.
βAutomations that make life easier for clinicians and healthcare teams.
βPersonal Health & Wellness
βPersonal health agents connecting wearables, labs, medical records, and other health data.
βAI-powered tools for nutrition, fitness, sleep, and longevity.
βNew ways to understand, monitor, and improve personal health.
βBiology & Life Sciences
βAI research assistants for scientific literature, data analysis, and discovery.
βAgents that help researchers design experiments or explore biological datasets.
βTools that make complex scientific information easier to access and use.
βAI Infrastructure & Agents
βEvaluation and monitoring tools for AI in high-stakes environments.
βMultimodal applications combining voice, images, text, and structured data.
βInfrastructure for more reliable, secure, and effective AI agents.
βOr build something completely different. These are just starting points. Bring your own ideas, explore the available datasets, or find inspiration from other participants.
βWhy Join?
βBuild something real: Take an idea from concept to working prototype in a weekend.
βMeet exceptional builders: Collaborate with engineers, founders, researchers, and operators from across NYC's tech and healthcare communities.
βExplore the frontier: Learn where AI is creating new possibilities in medicine, personal health, and biology.
βGet hands-on with leading tools: Experiment with AI infrastructure, APIs, models, and datasets from our partners.
βLearn from experienced people: Connect with founders and technical experts working on real-world applications.
βFind your next collaborator: Meet potential cofounders, future teammates, or people you'd love to build with again.
βAnd of course, good food, good people, and a fun weekend of hacking.
