Our second event! Come arrange a hand-held floral arrangement with Megha Torpunuri, founder of Wave Floral, a san francisco-based floral design studio!
What you'll walk away with:

✦ How to shop for flowers like someone who does this for a living
✦ Color theory for arrangements that will light up any occasion
✦ The different kinds of flowers, branches, leaves, and natural materials and how to keep them fresh!

We're Sama and Jacqueline, two East Bay girls who spent five years in NYC and watched each other come alive in a city where creativity was so accessible. We decided when we came home that we weren't leaving that behind.
Coqtail Hour is the community we wished existed when we got back. Pop-up events in the Bay, after five, for people who know there's more to them than their LinkedIn.
Partners
Megha Torpunuri is a San Francisco–based florist, ex-founder, and software consultant. Through Wave Floral, her work with blooms became the unexpected blueprint for co-founding Whimsy, an AI-native backend for wedding and event professionals, built from firsthand experience inside the chaos and creativity of event work. Currently, she’s automating her floral business's backend so she can spend less time on logistics, and more time with flowers, clients, and long bike rides outdoors where much of her inspiration begins.
We are grateful to gather at Homebrew Club, a dynamic coworking space in San Francisco built for founders, tinkerers, and builders pushing the boundaries of frontier tech. Thank you for hosting us Tess Robinson!

Small rooms, real conversation, and people who showed up to be part of something. Just a roomful of multidimensional creatives or curious people making and getting to know each other!
Cancellation Policy
Unfortunately, tickets for this event are non-refundable/exchangeable! Please double check your calendar. 🙏🏼 In the event you are no longer able to make it, you are welcome to give your ticket to a friend. Just tell them to use your name for check in!
A final note
Wear something that reminds you of spring! We'll be taking photos and videos at the event; if you'd prefer not to be photographed, just let us know on arrival.
