About Event

Relay Hack provides students with an opportunity to move beyond classroom learning and work on real-world business and technology challenges. The 5th edition brings together students from colleges across Kathmandu and connects them with an industry partner, Technergy, to develop practical, technology-driven solutions.

Through field research, design sprints, ideation, prototyping, mentorship, and Demo Day presentations, participants gain hands-on experience in problem-solving, teamwork, innovation, communication, and entrepreneurship. The program also encourages students to understand industry needs and apply their academic knowledge to practical situations. By involving industry-experienced mentors and judges, Relay Hack creates opportunities for students to receive professional guidance, constructive feedback, and exposure to real-world expectations.

The program strengthens collaboration between students, educational institutions, and industry while encouraging an innovation-oriented culture within the local student community. It also provides students from different colleges with a platform to collaborate, exchange ideas, build prototypes, and showcase their capabilities. Ultimately, Relay Hack aims to help students develop practical skills, confidence, and industry awareness that can support their future academic, entrepreneurial, and professional journeys.
