Why memes?
Memes are a powerful cultural tool that use humor, simplicity, and emotional resonance to make complex privacy issues relatable and shareable. By tapping into social proof and collective values, memes transform privacy from a niche concern into a mainstream priority—one laugh, one share, and one subconscious nudge at a time.
In this spirit, Peter created a mini course on Memetic Warfare at the Web3Privacy Now Academy.

Everything's fair game - whether you're a veteran of the 2010 meme era or riding the new wave of content creation. Classic memes? Absolutely. Deep-fried shitposts? Yes. AI-generated absurdity? Bring it on. From rage comics to surreal Gen Z humor, TikTok edits, high-fashion parodies, and even full-on meme video production, the only rule is that it all ties back to privacy. Whether you're shitting on surveillance capitalism, turning cryptography into a visual joke, or turning privacy tools into the next high-end fashion statement, we want to see it.

so… How do You Submit?
If you haven’t gotten it, let me re-phrase:
If you choose first path, it's simple:
Submit a meme or two: → Just add the images on JokeRace directly (hackathon begins on April 1st) or post on X and tag @web3privacy.
You can submit up to (secret amount) of entries.
If they are linked to each other creatively - add it as one!
If you want to add a creative spin to it, follow these steps:
Submit an exploration: → The wallet you put on Luma sign up is whitelisted on Portrait.so - go ahead and create a page, then paste it into your JokeRace submission or tag @web3privacy on X.
On that page you can add whatever you want - video, images, text. Show us how creative you can get, and always value quality over quantity, and insanity over sanity 💕
Open Track 🏆 $3,000
It really is an open canvas. You can go with just a single meme submission, you can create a whole ass board of things. Important thing is - it’s related to PRIVACY, and deep dives into it in a coherent way. Think of it as performance art your grandma could never understand.
