Founded in January 2024, Starcloud is building data centers in space and launched the first NVIDIA H100 GPU into orbit, around 100x more powerful than any previous space-based compute.
In March 2026, the company raised a $170M Series A at a $1.1B valuation. Backers include Benchmark, NVIDIA, Y Combinator, and In-Q-Tel.
Philip also holds the record for the most out-of-this-world proposal, written on the Starcloud-1 satellite. He'll be interviewed by his fiancée, yours truly.
