Online panel on what it would take to build sovereign AI for science in India, bringing together perspectives from the compute and institutional layers of the Indian AI and research ecosystem.
With Vishnu Subramanian from JarvisLabs / E2E and Dr. Shivkumar Kalyanaraman from ANRF, the session will explore what India needs to contribute meaningfully to AI-enabled science, from compute and public research infrastructure to funding, talent, institutions, and research workflows.
A conversation on the practical constraints and opportunities for AI-for-science in India, and what needs to be built across infrastructure, institutions, and scientific communities.
