📝 Field Notes: Nature Journaling Walk
Slow down. Look closer. Start your field notes. 🌿✏️
Join natural science illustrator Trenton Jung for Field Notes: Nature Journaling Walk, a beginner-friendly outdoor sketching workshop rooted in slow looking, observation, and the small natural details hiding in plain sight.
We’ll meet near Seattle Center and take a gentle creative walk through nearby outdoor spaces, pausing to observe plants, seasonal textures, organic forms, and little moments of urban ecology.
Trenton will guide you through simple ways to sketch, take notes, and build a nature journaling practice without needing to be “good” at drawing.
This workshop is less about making a perfect page and more about learning how to notice: shapes, rhythms, textures, colors, and the living details we usually walk past.
