Michael is a highly accomplished pharmaceutical scientist and healthcare innovator with a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Auckland University and a PhD from the University of Sydney, School of Medicine. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Philips Healthcare Innovation Hub, Shanghai, driving research and development in contactless health monitoring technologies covering cardiovascular, respiratory, and physical health.
Experienced in customer discovery, and translating value propositions into manufacturing and regulatory strategies. Strong background in IP strategy, with over 10 IP disclosures and 2 successful patent filings, as well as involvement in 2 U.S. medical device development projects within the past year.
Extensive expertise in drug development, having contributed to 10+ U.S. Pre-IND and IND submissions and designed 10+ clinical study protocols across Phases I–III. Experienced in projects across infectious disease, oncology, autoimmune, pulmonary, and neurological disorders.

Currently, Jack is the CEO of RNAscence, a biotech start-up spun off from Nanyang Technological University and the National Skin Centre Singapore, focused on cutting-edge RNA-based innovations.
Christelle Tan GEMBA’24 is the Founder of MedMosaic, a HealthTech startup focused on improving patient access to clinical trials and regulatory governance in medicine. She combined her entrepreneurial spirit within her family, along with her 17-year corporate career in clinical research, medical governance, and regional operations at multinational companies, to develop various solutions that aspires to bridge the immense gaps in patient access to medicine.
