Signature Gathering and Turn In Your Signatures at Valencia LIVE! in San Francisco
Join us to gather signatures for both Connect Bay Area, funding public transit in San Francisco and throughout the five counties of the Inner Bay Area!
Valencia LIVE! is a free, all-ages monthly street party and neighborhood celebration on the second Thursday of every month from 5-10 pm, May through October, 2026.
We'll meet at 5pm just outside the block party perimeter at 16th and Valencia for supply distribution. After that, we'll head out to gather signatures in the area.
Update: We are on track to make the ballot and need all petitions with signatures to be turned in by May 17 in order for them to count. For Connect Bay Area, we are still giving out new petitions and gathering while working toward this final turn-in deadline. (In San Francisco, we are no longer giving out petitions for Stronger Muni For All, we will have enough signatures with turn-in only.)
You can return your petitions anytime during this event, at any other of our events, or at one of our petition hubs that have regular storefront hours, by our May 17 turn-in deadline for both measures.
If you've already attended a training (or if you complete online training in advance by reading our training guide then completing this form), you can stop by anytime before the end of the event to drop off completed petitions and/or pick up new ones.

For your signatures to help us get on the ballot, you need to correctly complete your Declaration of Circulator. You can read these notes or ask us when you arrive if you have questions. We will help you make sure your Declaration is completed correctly when you see us, and will also count the signatures you're submitting to see if you're eligible for any new swag!
What are signature milestone swag rewards? These are special prizes that you earn by gathering and turning in signatures. We have a "fund the bus" hat for 50 sigs, an "I Get Around" tee for 125 sigs, a set of 7 transit vehicle pins for 250 sigs, a framed map of Bay Area transit for 500 sigs, and a hoodie for 1000 sigs.

To avoid devastating Bay Area transit service cuts, we are gathering over 200,000 signatures to get Connect Bay Area Transit, the five-county regional transit funding measure, on the ballot. In San Francisco, we also need to pass the Stronger Muni for All measure to prevent service cuts to Muni.
