🎤 Agent Governance Toolkit by Imran Siddique (Creator of Agent Governance Toolkit, Agentic AI Architect & Group Engineering Manager at Microsoft)
AI is moving from assistive tools to autonomous agents that can execute code, access data, and take real-world actions. Frameworks for building agents have exploded — but we don't yet know how to control them. Imran reframes agent governance as a runtime systems problem, using Microsoft's Agent Governance Toolkit as a case study. Expect coverage of zero trust, service mesh, and SRE concepts re-applied to AI agents, plus a look ahead at Agent Control Planes and Agent Operating Systems.
🎤 Routing in Kubernetes by Sitesh Pattanaik (AWS, Founder of Seattle Systems meetup)
A grounded walkthrough of how routing actually works inside a Kubernetes cluster. Sitesh starts with Service-based traffic routing and where it fails, examines the limits of Layer 4 load balancers when apps need path- or header-based decisions, and finishes with Ingress and Ingress Controllers — and how they extend the networking layer for modern cloud-native workloads.
