Cathar(t)sis: An Analog Creativity Lab for the Digitally Overloaded
You feel the cognitive overload getting real now.
You're 'always-on' and rarely pausing.
Think of the endless notifications, the constant switching between tabs, the hackneyed AI chatter, the digital noise.
And now you feel fragmented and disconnected from your own thinking.
Your attention is broken. Your creativity is parched with disuse.
Cathar(t)sis is a 60 minutes guided analog writing experience that will bring you back to your creativity and reconnect with your own mind.
It's a fresh space to focus deeply and allow your human creativity to take the lead.
We'll not type. We'll not use AI.
Just you, a paper and pen, and your own imagination.
Through a blend of neuroscience-informed mindfulness and a guided analog writing session, you will handwrite something that will be your lighthouse for your future.
You don't need to have writing experience for this. You will be guided at every step of the writing process.
Your words in this session don't need to be polished, or beautiful. They don't need to be published anywhere, or shared with anyone.
This piece of writing will be for yourself, honest, and simple, and true.
The Experience
You'll be on a screen to join us, but you'll be writing by hand on paper, allowing your brain to think, and focus, and deeply connect to your inner self.
In this 60 minutes session, you will:
Reset: 10 minutes of mindfulness to down-regulate from the digital world and make space for your own cognition
Deep-dive: You'll do 30 minutes of deep, guided, analog writing. We'll save the topic for the room.
Connect: An optional space at the end to share your insights, or writing.
You’ll leave with:
A renewed sense of focus
A sense of clear mental space
A tangible experience of how mindfulness can empower attention and intellectual clarity
A deep connection to your inner ideas and direction
