Think Microgrid August "Think Session": Microgrids at Utility Commissions and State Energy Offices

​Please join us for our August Think Session to hear from stakeholders involved in key microgrid regulatory proceedings and at state energy offices across the country, as well as new opportunities to get involved with Think Microgrid.

​Speakers will share brief updates on the status of the following programs and proceedings:

• ​Oregon PUC's AR 681 proceeding at the PUC to establish a microgrid framework from Kevin Wright (ProtoGen)

• ​Colorado DOLA's Microgrids for Community Resilience Program from Julia Masters (DOLA)

​Danielle Sass Byrnett (NARUC) will then share an update on NARUC's efforts on microgrids, including a recent brief issued in July 2026 on how PUCs and SEOs can reduce barriers to microgrid interconnection.
