About Daisy Walker :
Daisy Walker is a multi-media artist whose practice is currently centred on painting. Having moved frequently throughout childhood, her work grew into the one constant that travelled with her, carrying themes of shifting, adapting, and rebuilding. Her practice is autobiographical and deeply rooted in gothic architecture, where light and the colour blue play central roles. Windows appear throughout her paintings as portals, escapes, and points of transition. Walker aims to transport viewers into constructed worlds that offer a sense of tranquillity, memory, and a place to return to.
About Georgia Salisbury :
Georgia Salisbury is a textile illustrator based in London, UK. She uses found fabrics and free-motion embroidery to subvert the centuries old craft of embroidery and sewing. She is especially focused on themes of nostalgia and domesticity, both of which link to the art forms' historic origins. Wonky stitches and frayed edges dominate her work, emphasising the human-made imperfections of her pieces. She feels this is especially important to highlight amidst the increasing presence of AI in the creative landscape.
