Tomorrow, I'm hosting the first ever Digitalconomics Live at Ojin AIxHaus in Berlin.
The idea is pretty simple: one interesting guest, one question I genuinely want to understand better, around 30 minutes of conversation and then drinks, snacks and time to hang out afterwards.

AI is changing what a single person can build.
But what happens when you zoom out?
Will companies get smaller? How will Product & Engineering teams change? Which skills become more valuable? What will great tech companies look like five years from now?
And maybe most importantly:
Where should you position yourself for what's next?
After doing the AI hackathon in the beginning of the year, Ojin offered me there beautiful space and I will do my first Digitalconomics Live Podcast.
I'm very happy that Paul Lunow, CTO at Vention, agreed to join me for a conversation.
And the question I want to discuss with him is:
How will AI change how companies are built?
Not whether AI will replace everyone or whether we'll all stop working.
I'm much more interested in what happens when individuals and small teams suddenly become much more capable.
Will companies get smaller? How will Product & Engineering teams change? Which skills become more valuable? What does this mean if you're a developer, PM, freelancer or founder today?
And maybe most importantly: where would you position yourself for the next few years?
I don't think anyone knows the answers. Paul doesn't, I definitely don't. But that's exactly why I think it'll be an interesting conversation.
And then: drinks 🍸
The podcast itself will be around 30 minutes.
Afterwards we'll have drinks, some snacks and plenty of time to hang out and meet the other people in the room.
Earlier this year we organized a small AI Hackathon in Berlin and was honestly a bit blown away by the people who showed up. We had builders from Google, AWS, N26, Helsing, BCG, n8n, Deloitte, BrowserStack, Finanzguru, Freshworks and many more in the room.
I really liked that mix of people.
So when Ojin recently asked me if I'd be up for doing another event together, I thought: why not try something new?
Organizing another hackathon felt a little ambitious for now. A live podcast, however, sounded like a lot of fun.
So this is an experiment.
